United States: Holy chip! Frito-Lay has recalled 13 ounces of snack-sized bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips due to a delicate allergic reaction, which may contain milk that can be dangerous for consumers with milk allergies, as reported by HealthDay.
Details of the Recalled Products
The recalled bags boast a “guaranteed fresh” date of February 11, 2025, and the manufacture code 6462307xx, or 6463307xx, according to the report by the United States FDA.
A media report reveals that these chips were circulated in Oregon and Washington over the counter and via online shops.
It is possible consumers bought them from as early as November 2.
The same report also reveals that Frito-Lay made it clear that none of the Lay’s products or sizes is linked to the recall.
What Consumers Should Do
To this effect, no individuals have complained of any illness or reactions resulting from the consumption of the chips; however, till further notice, those with special grievances against allergy or undue sensitivity to milk should discard the chips and refrain from consuming them, as reported by HealthDay.
